It’s that time of year again. Autumn with its shades of orange and falling leaves make an appearance in the pages of this month’s Flight Test Safety Fact. So does Indiana Jones, a character from the Terminator, and an alien from another world.
There’s another man whose last name ends in J, and he proposes a scale to measure the aspects of safety that don’t usually get quantified, positive interventions. It was my favorite paper from the Flight Test Safety Workshop in Texas, but you can also read more to find out about the next FTSW in this month’s pages.
Finally, check out what’s in the podcast, and as always, we give a nod to Chuck Yeager and the Bell X-1 on the anniversary of its sound barrier breaking flight.
